14         Amendment to Amendment (482795) (with title amendment) 

15         On page 4, between lines 28 and 29, of the amendment

16

17  insert:

18           (e)  Upon notification that a school within the

19  district has been designated with a performance grade category

20  of "F" for 2 school years in any 4-year period and prior to

21  providing opportunity scholarships; the school district shall:

22         1.  Terminate the employment contracts with the school

23  principal employed at the time of the performance category "F"

24  designation.

25         2.  Accept a new principal selected by the State Board

26  of Education and request assistance from the board in

27  obtaining interim staff.

28         3.  Receive school deregulation by the State Board of

29  Education, and allow management flexibility within the

30  district for the designated school until the school achieves a

31  performance grade of "C" or for three years whichever event
