19 Section 2. Effective July 1, 1999, section 236.0825,
20 F.S., is created to read:
21 236.0825 LOW PERFORMING SCHOOLS INTERVENTION PROGRAM--
22 (1) The department is authorized to allocate and
23 distribute to each district with schools that are reported as
24 performance grade "F" after one year an amount as prescribed
25 annually by the legislature for improvement funds for such low
26 performing schools. The allocation shall be one-sixth of the
27 product determined by multiplying the base student allocation
28 times the weighted full-time equivalent student membership for
29 these designated schools times the district cost differential.
30 (2) The funds shall be used only for those schools
31 reported as grade "F," and may be used for student school
