15         On page 136, line 25, through page 137, line 20, delete

16  those lines

18  and insert:

19         (f)  Beginning with the 2000-2001 academic year, each

20  public and private institution that offers a teacher

21  preparation program in this state must annually report

22  information regarding these programs to the state and the

23  general public. This information shall be reported in a

24  uniform and comprehensible manner that conforms with

25  definitions and methods proposed by the Education Standards

26  Commission, that are consistent with definitions and methods

27  approved by the Commissioner of the National Center for

28  Educational Statistics, and that are approved by the State

29  Board of Education. This information shall be reported through

30  publications such as college and university catalogs and

31  promotional materials sent to potential applicants, secondary
