11  The Committee on Governmental Oversight and Productivity

12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 

15         On page 5, lines 21-24, delete those lines

16

17  and insert:  completion of postpartum care. In the event that

18  an enrollee chooses to continue care with a terminated

19  treating provider, the state group health insurance program

20  will pay only those amounts payable under the terms of the

21  terminated contract, until the enrollee selects another

22  treating provider or until the next open enrollment period

23  designated by the division, whichever occurs first, but no

24  longer than 1 year after termination of the treating provider.

25  Any amounts charged in excess of the amounts payable under the

26  terms of the terminated contract are the responsibility of the

27  enrollee. This subparagraph shall not apply to treating
