14         On page 35, line 11, through page 36, line 2, delete

15  those lines

17  and insert:

18         (3)  The agency shall adopt rules providing for the

19  minimum staffing requirements for nursing homes. These

20  requirements shall include, for each nursing home facility, a

21  minimum certified nursing assistant staffing of 2.25 hours per

22  resident per day, including evening and night shifts and

23  weekends. Agency rules shall specify requirements for

24  documentation of compliance with staffing standards, sanctions

25  for violation of such standards, and requirements for daily

26  posting of the names of staff on duty for the benefit of

27  facility residents and the public.
