11  Senator Bronson moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 8, lines 1-22, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         (7)  Law enforcement officers of the Department of

18  Environmental Protection who meet the provisions of s. 943.13

19  are constituted law enforcement officers of this state with

20  full power to investigate and arrest for any violation of the

21  laws of this state and the rules of the department and the

22  Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund. The

23  general laws applicable to investigations, searches, and

24  arrests by peace officers of this state apply to such law

25  enforcement officers.
