17 Section 16. Section 402.26, F.S., is amended to read:
18 402.26 Child care; legislative intent.--
19 (6) It is the intent of the Legislature that a
20 licensed child care facility pursuant to s. 402.305 or a child
21 care facility exempt from licensing pursuant to s. 402.316
22 that achieves Gold Seal Quality status pursuant to s. 402.281
23 be considered an educational institution for the purpose of
24 qualifying for exemption from ad valorem tax pursuant to s.
25 196.198, F.S.
