  1                         House Resolution

  2         A resolution in recognition of Anne Nymark.

  3

  4         WHEREAS, Anne Nymark was born in Andalusia, Alabama,

  5  the youngest of seven children, on March 4, 1949, and

  6         WHEREAS, in 1966 Anne Nymark was named "Miss Pasco

  7  County" and represented Pasco County throughout the State of

  8  Florida, and

  9         WHEREAS, in 1967 Anne Nymark moved to Tampa where she

10  attended the University of South Florida, and

11         WHEREAS, in 1981 Anne Nymark started her own business,

12  and today she is the owner and president of Professional

13  Accounting & Consulting Services, Inc., and

14         WHEREAS, Anne Nymark's years of service to the citizens

15  of the Hillsborough County area are evidenced by the numerous

16  community service and community involvement efforts in which

17  she has participated, and

18         WHEREAS, Anne Nymark has served as chairman of the

19  board of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, as vice

20  president of the Hillsborough Rural Community Development

21  Board, as a member of the Hillsborough County Citizens

22  Advisory Council, as a board member of the Florida Restaurant

23  Association, as 1993 chairman of the YMCA Major Funds

24  Campaign, as vice president of Center Place for 1992-1993, as

25  a member of the Brandon High School Advisory Board in 1990,

26  1991, and 1993, as president of the Greater Brandon Kiwanis

27  Club in 1992 and as vice president in 1990 and 1991, as a

28  member of the Missing Children Help Center Advisory Board from

29  1988-1990, as board member and fundraising chairman of the

30  Brandon Outreach Clinic, as board member of the American

  1  Cancer Society in 1990, and as a board member of the Greater

  2  Brandon Kiwanis Club from 1989-1993, and

  3         WHEREAS, Anne Nymark has also received the "West Coast

  4  Woman of the Year Award" for 1995-1996, was a finalist for

  5  "West Coast Woman of the Year" in 1990, and was runner-up for

  6  Business Leader of the Year in 1990, and

  7         WHEREAS, it is fitting and appropriate that the Florida

  8  House of Representatives recognize Anne Nymark for her

  9  continued community service and involvement, NOW, THEREFORE,

10

11  Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of

12  Florida:

13

14         That the House of Representatives of the State of

15  Florida hereby recognizes Anne Nymark for her continued

16  community involvement and her years of service to the citizens

17  of the Hillsborough County area.

18         BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution

19  be transmitted to Anne Nymark as a tangible token of the

20  sentiments expressed herein.
