19  and insert in lieu thereof:  If an applicant has received an

20  initial license to practice in this state after January 1,

21  1992 and has submitted fingerprints to the department for a

22  national criminal history check upon initial licensure and is

23  renewing his or her license for the first time, then the

24  applicant need only submit the information and fee required

25  for a statewide criminal history check.
