  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to ethics; expressing the

  3         Legislative intent to revise the laws

  4         prescribing ethical standards for public

  5         officers and employees; providing an effective

  6         date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  The Legislature intends to revise the laws

11  prescribing ethical standards for public officers and

12  employees.

13         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.
