11  The Committee on Fiscal Policy recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 29, between lines 2 and 3,

17  insert:

18         Section 17.  The following sums are appropriated from

19  recurring General Revenue Fund for fiscal year 2000-2001. The

20  sum of $921,000 is appropriated to the Justice Administrative

21  Commission for the purpose of paying the costs associated with

22  adding assistant state attorneys to the Senior Management

23  Service Class in the Florida Retirement System. The sum of

24  $605,000 is appropriated to the Justice Administrative

25  Commission for the purpose of paying the costs associated with

26  adding assistant public defenders to the Senior Management

27  Service Class in the Florida Retirement System. The sum of

28  $24,000 is appropriated to the Department of Legal Affairs,

29  Office of Statewide Prosecutor for the purpose of paying the

30  costs associated with adding assistant statewide prosecutors

31  to the Senior Management Service Class in the Florida
