14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 63, between lines 21 and 22,

17  insert:

18         Section 41.  Subsection (5) is added to section

19  401.252, Florida Statutes, to read:

20         401.252  Interfacility transfer.--

21         (5)  A licensed basic or advanced life support provider

22  shall not be required to obtain a certificate of public

23  convenience and necessity from a county, which has a

24  population greater than 1.5 million and is not a

25  constitutional charter county, in order to provide

26  interfacility transfers, nor shall any state license preclude

27  the provision of interfacility transfers so long as the

28  licensed basic and advanced life support provider meets the

29  requirements of this section.
