11  Senator Hargrett moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         Delete everything after the enacting clause

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 1.  Effective July 1, 2002, sections 325.001,

18  325.201, 325.202, 325.203, 325.204, 325.206, 325.207,

19  325.2075, 325.208, 325.209, 325.210, 325.211, 325.212,

20  325.213, 325.2135, 325.214, 325.215, 325.216, 325.217,

21  325.218, and 325.219, Florida Statutes, are repealed.

22         Section 2.  Section 325.205, Florida Statutes, is

23  created to read:

24         325.205  Within 90 days after the effective date of

25  this act, the Department of Environmental Protection shall

26  initiate a revision of the United States Environmental

27  Protection Agency-approved State Implementation Plan for the

28  program area to back out the emission credits from the motor

29  vehicle inspection program.

30         Section 3.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.

  7         An act relating to motor vehicle emissions;

  8         repealing ss. 325.001, 325.201, 325.202,

  9         325.203, 325.204, 325.206, 325.207, 325.2075,

10         325.208, 325.209, 325.210, 325.211, 325.212,

11         325.213, 325.2135, 325.214, 325.215, 325.216,

12         325.217, 325.218, 325.219, F.S., which provide

13         for inspection of motor vehicle exhaust

14         emissions; creating s. 325.205, F.S.; directing

15         the Department of Environmental Protection to

16         submit a revision to Florida's State

17         Implementation Plan to the United States

18         Environmental Protection Agency; providing an

19         effective date.
