  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Department of Labor and

  3         Employment Security; expressing the legislative

  4         intent to enact organizational and programmatic

  5         changes to the department; providing an

  6         effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  enact organizational and programmatic changes to the

12  Department of Labor and Employment Security in order to

13  improve the performance and effectiveness of the state's

14  workforce-development and other labor-related activities.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
