11  Senator Jones moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 24, lines 9-22, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         (a)  The Speaker of the House of Representatives shall

18  appoint three members. Two of the members must be members in

19  good standing of The Florida Bar. One of the members must be a

20  layperson.

21         (b)  The President of the Senate shall appoint three

22  members. Two of the members must be members in good standing

23  of The Florida Bar. One of the members must be a layperson.

24         (c)  The Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court

25  shall appoint three members. One of the members must have

26  served on the Supreme Court but is not presently serving. That

27  person shall serve as chair. One of the members must be a

28  member in good standing of The Florida Bar. One of the members

29  must be a layperson.
