9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
10
11 Section 1. Section 311.13, Florida Statutes, is
12 created to read:
13 311.13 Certain information exempt from
14 disclosure.--Seaport security plans of a seaport authority
15 created by act of the Legislature or of a seaport department
16 of a county or municipality that operates an international
17 seaport are exempt from provisions of s. 119.07(1) and s.
18 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution. In addition,
19 photographs, maps, blueprints, drawings, and similar materials
20 that depict critical seaport operating facilities are exempt

1 county or municipal seaport department that operates a
2 seaport. The exemptions contained in this section are subject
3 to the Open Government Sunset Review Act of 1995, in
4 accordance with s. 119.15, and this section shall stand
5 repealed on October 2, 2005, unless reviewed and saved from
6 repeal through reenactment by the Legislature.
7 Section 2. The Legislature finds that seaports

10 The Legislature further finds that an exemption from public
11 disclosure for seaport security plans and certain photographs,
12 maps, blueprints, drawings and similar materials that depict
13 critical seaport operating facilities is narrowly tailored to
14 serve a public purpose and is necessary to ensure the safety
15 and security of seaports.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
17 law.
