11  The Committee on Fiscal Policy recommended the following

12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 17, between lines 8 and 9,

16

17  insert:

18         Section 5.  Section 6 of chapter 85-178, Laws of

19  Florida, is amended to read:

20         Section 6.  Child support enforcement demonstration

21  projects.--

22         (1)  The Department of Revenue Health and

23  Rehabilitative Services shall fund three comprehensive child

24  support enforcement demonstration projects. One demonstration

25  project shall be conducted in Dade County and Hialeah County

26  and be administered by the state attorney for the eleventh

27  circuit. The second demonstration project shall be conducted

28  in Manatee County and be administered by the clerk of the

29  circuit court. The third demonstration project shall be in

30  Palm Beach County and be administered by the Department of

31  Health and Rehabilitative Services.

 1         (2)  All services required by the state IV-D Plan must

 2  be provided and such services must be provided in accordance

 3  with state and federal policies under each demonstration

 4  project.

 5         (3)  The operation of the program shall be subject to

 6  review and audit by state and federal officials responsible

 7  for IV-D program functions.

 8         (4)  All state and federal reporting requirements must

 9  be met in a timely manner.

10         (5)  Funds for the operation of the demonstration

11  projects in Dade and Hialeah Counties and in Manatee County

12  Counties shall be provided on a cost reimbursement basis

13  pursuant to contract with the state IV-D agency.

14         (6)  A preliminary evaluation of the demonstration

15  projects shall be provided to the Legislature on March 1,

16  1986.

23         On page 1, line 8, after the semicolon,

25  insert:

26         amending s. 6, ch. 85-178, Laws of Florida;

27         requiring the state attorney to provide child

28         support enforcement services for Hialeah

29         County; providing for funding by the Department

30         of Revenue; deleting an obsolete requirement

31         for a preliminary evaluation;
