  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to persons with developmental

  3         disabilities; amending s. 400.962, F.S.;

  4         removing the licensure requirement for

  5         comprehensive transitional educational

  6         programs; providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  Subsection (1) of section 400.962, Florida

11  Statutes, is amended to read:

12         400.962  License required; license application.--

13         (1)  It is unlawful to operate an intermediate care

14  facility for the developmentally disabled or a comprehensive

15  transitional educational program without a license.

16         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

17  law.
