11  Senator Casas moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 4, lines 19-30, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         Section 6.  A limitation on development within a

18  development order issued under chapter 380 does not preclude

19  the granting of any local government development approval or

20  development permit for a Network Access Point (NAP), a

21  carrier-neutral public-private Internet traffic exchange

22  point, if:

23         (a)  The NAP is proposed within a community

24  redevelopment area established pursuant to the Community

25  Redevelopment Act of 1969;

26         (b)  The proposed NAP is consistent with the applicable

27  local government comprehensive plan; and

28         (c)  The NAP is permissible under the local government

29  land development regulations.
