  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to telecommunications;

  3         providing legislative intent relating to the

  4         taxation of telecommunications services;

  5         providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature that

10  laws and regulations relating to the taxation of

11  telecommunications services should be fair to all service

12  providers, encourage competition, and expedite the development

13  of advanced technologies.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
