11  Senator Sullivan moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 43, lines 29, through page 44, line 28, delete

15  those lines

16

17  and insert:

18         (i)  Any group of M.P.O.'s which has created a chair's

19  coordinating committee as of the effective date of this act

20  and is located within the same Department of Transportation

21  District which is comprised of four adjacent M.P.O.'s must

22  continue such committee as provided for in this section. Such

23  committee must also include one representative from each

24  M.P.O. contiguous to the geographic boundaries of the original

25  committee. The committee must, at a minimum:

26         1.  Coordinate transportation projects deemed to be

27  regionally significant by the committee.

28         2.  Review the impact of regionally significant land

29  use decisions on the region.

30         3. Review all proposed regionally significant

31  transportation projects in the respective transportation

 2  M.P.O.'s represented on the committee.

 3         4.  Institute a conflict resolution process to address

 4  any conflict that may arise in the planning and programming of
