14 On page 99, between lines 28 and 29,

16 insert:
17 Section 29. In the 2000-2001 fiscal year, any
18 unencumbered funds that remain undisbursed on June 30, 2001,
19 from the Quick-Response Training Program, the Brownfield
20 Redevelopment Bonus Refunds, or the Brownfield Redevelopment
21 Grants Program and funds appropriated in the General
22 Appropriations Act for cleanup of state-owned lands shall be
23 used for grants to fund assessment and remediation at
24 brownfield sites or areas designated under section 376.80,
25 Florida Statutes, prior to April 1, 2000, which are brownfield
26 pilot projects of the United States Environmental Protection
27 Agency designated prior to July 1, 1997, and at which site
28 assessment has been initiated as of April 1, 2000. Grants
29 shall be distributed to eligible pilot projects under this
30 section on a pro rata basis in an amount not to exceed
31 $500,000 per pilot project.
