  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to information technology;

  3         providing legislative intent relating to

  4         workforce development in information

  5         technologies; providing an effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

10  foster a more qualified workforce to develop, implement, and

11  maintain information systems and fill the vacancies in the

12  rapidly advancing information technology industry in this

13  state.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.
