  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to information technology;

  3         providing legislative intent to foster

  4         statewide infrastructure and technology

  5         development in information technologies;

  6         providing an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  establish information-technology policies that will foster the

12  free-market development and the beneficial use of advanced

13  telecommunications networks and information technologies in

14  this state.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
