11  The Committee on Community Affairs offered the following:

13         Amendment 

14         On page 35, between lines 5 and 6, of the bill

15

16  insert:

17         Prior to the District having the powers described in

18  subsection (2), the additional power granted to the District

19  must receive approval by a majority vote of the qualified

20  electors of the district voting in a referendum election to be

21  called by the District at the next general election, with the

22  exception of the following three parks:

23         (a)  Lake Camille Park

24         (b)  Williams Park

25         (c)  Eco Park.
