18 Section 1. Paragraph (o) is added to subsection (1) of
19 section 468.456, Florida Statutes, and subsection (3) of said
20 section is amended to read:
21 468.456 Prohibited acts.--
22 (1) The following acts shall be grounds for the
23 disciplinary actions provided for in subsection (3):
24 (o) Knowingly being employed by, being utilized by or
25 otherwise collaborating with a person to recruit student
26 athletes who has been convicted or found guilty of, or who has
27 entered a plea of nolo contendere to, regardless of
28 adjudication, a violation of s. 468.45615.
29 (3) When the department finds any person guilty of any
30 of the prohibited acts set forth in subsection (1), the
31 department may enter an order imposing one or more of the

1 penalties provided in s. 455.227. In addition to any other
2 penalties or disciplinary actions provided for in this part,
3 the department shall suspend or revoke the license of any
4 athlete agent licensed under this part, who violates s.
5 468.456(1)(f) or (o) or s. 468.45615.
6 Section 2. Section 468.45615, Florida Statutes, is
7 created to read:
8 468.45615 Provision of illegal inducements to athletes
9 prohibited; penalties; license suspension.--
10 (1) Any person who violates s. 468.456(1)(f) is guilty
11 of a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in
12 ss. 775.082, 775.083, 775.084, 775.089, and 775.091.
13 (2)(a) Any person convicted or found guilty of, or
14 entering a plea of nolo contendere to, regardless of
15 adjudication, to the violation described in subsection (1)
16 shall not employ, utilize, or otherwise collaborate with a
17 licensed or unlicensed athlete agent in Florida to recruit
18 student athletes. Any person who violates the provisions of
19 this subsection is guilty of a felony of the second degree
20 punishable as provided in ss. 775.082, 775.083, 775.084,
21 775.089, and 775.091.
22 (b) Any person who knowingly actively assists in the
23 recruitment of student athletes for a person who has been
24 convicted or found guilty of, or entered a plea of nolo
25 contendere to, regardless of adjudication, to a violation of
26 this section is guilty of a felony of the second degree,
27 punishable as provided in ss. 775.082, 775.083, 775.084,
28 775.089, and 775.091.
29 (3) In addition to any other penalties provided in
30 this section, the court may automatically suspend the license
31 of the person pending the outcome of any administrative action
