15         On page 1, line 10,

17  insert:

18         Section 1.  Section 626.852, Florida Statutes, is

19  amended to read:

20         626.852  Scope of this part.--

21         (1)  This part applies only to insurance adjusters as

22  defined in this part.

23         (2)  Unless otherwise required by context, the term

24  "adjusters" as used in this part applies to all licensees

25  defined as any type of adjuster.

26         (3)  This part does not apply as to life insurance or

27  annuity contracts.

28         (4)  This part does not apply to third-party

29  administrators or a person employed by a third-party

30  administrator holding a certificate of authority pursuant to

31  ss. 626.88-626.894.
