17  and insert in lieu thereof:

18         3.  Notwithstanding the provisions of this paragraph,

19  the court may, upon proper motion and a finding that the

20  interest of justice is best served, adjudicate the 16 year old

21  child guilty and impose a youthful offender sentence pursuant

22  to chapter 958.
