  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Collier County; repealing

  3         chapter 67-1246, Laws of Florida, relating to

  4         the authority of the county and municipalities

  5         therein to plan, zone, and regulate

  6         subdivisions, establish and maintain boards and

  7         commissions for the carrying out of the act,

  8         limit the areas and jurisdictions that

  9         qualified, establish functions, powers and

10         duties, approve a comprehensive plan, create

11         zoning purposes and districts, specify what may

12         be regulated, create a procedure for

13         establishing boundaries and adopt regulations

14         thereto, allow for supplementation and

15         amendment, provide special exceptions, provide

16         for continuity, establish a board of zoning

17         appeals, provide for subdivision regulation,

18         create rules and procedures regarding plats,

19         and provide for a continuation; repealing

20         chapter 69-964, Laws of Florida, relating to

21         different zoning ordinances in different

22         geographical areas of Collier County, and

23         allowing for lack of uniformity therein;

24         providing an effective date.

26  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

27

28         Section 1.  Chapters 67-1246 and 69-964, Laws of

29  Florida, are hereby repealed.

30         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

31  law.
