13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 80, between lines 23 and 24,

16  insert:

17         Section 43.  Subsection (5) is added to section

18  401.252(5), Florida Statutes, to read:

19         401.252  Interfacility transfer.--

20         (5)  A licensed basic or advanced life support provider

21  shall not be required to obtain a certificate of public

22  convenience and necessity from a county, which has a

23  population greater than 1.5 million and is not a

24  constitutional charter county, in order to provide

25  interfacility transfers, nor shall any state license preclude

26  the provision of interfacility transfers so long as the

27  licensed basic and advanced life support provider meets the

28  requirements of this section.
