  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to Cabinet reorganization;

  3         amending s. 20.03, F.S.; modifying the

  4         definition of the term "Cabinet"; providing an

  5         effective date.

  7  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  8

  9         Section 1.  Subsection (1) of section 20.03, Florida

10  Statutes, is amended to read:

11         20.03  Definitions.--To provide uniform nomenclature

12  throughout the structure of the executive branch, the

13  following definitions apply:

14         (1)  "Cabinet" means collectively the Secretary of

15  State, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, and

16  Comptroller, Treasurer, Commissioner of Agriculture, and

17  Commissioner of Education, as specified in s. 4, Art. IV of

18  the State Constitution.

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect January 7, 2003.
