13 Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 17, between lines 4 and 5 of the bill
15 Section 12. Section 627.6410, Florida Statutes, is
16 created to read:
17 627.6410 Coverage for early intervention services;
18 limitation.--Any accident or health insurance policy that
19 covers a child in this state from birth to 3 years of age,
20 which provides for payments for early intervention services
21 for such child and that is issued, amended, delivered, or
22 renewed in this state after October 1, 2000, shall not provide
23 for application of such payments against any maximum annual or
24 lifetime limits specified in this policy.
25 Section 13. Section 627.65747, Florida Statutes, is
26 created to read:
27 627.65747 Coverage for early intervention services;
28 limitation.--Any group, blanket, or franchise accident or
29 health insurance policy that covers a child in this state from
30 birth to 3 years of age, which provides for payments for early
31 intervention services for such child and that is issued,

1 amended, delivered, or renewed in this state after October 1,
2 2000, shall not provide for application for such payments
3 against any maximum annual or lifetime limits specified in the
4 contract.
5 Section 14. Subsection (39) is added to section
6 641.31, Florida Statutes, to read:
7 641.31 Health maintenance contracts.--
8 (39) Any health maintenance contract that covers a
9 child in this state from birth to 3 years of age, which
10 provides for payments for early intervention services for such
11 child and that is issued, amended, delivered, or renewed in
12 this state after October 1, 2000, shall not provide for
13 application of such payments against any maximum annual or
14 lifetime limits specified in the contract.

28 payments to certain limits specified in the
29 policies or contracts;
