11  Senator Campbell moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 2, line 22, through page 3, line 5 delete those

15  lines

17  and insert:

18         (2)  This section shall be construed to ratify,

19  confirm, and validate titles derived from state deeds or

20  grants which purported to convey nonsovereignty lands, but

21  which may have included sovereignty submerged lands within the

22  boundaries described in the deed or grant, to the extent that

23  the lands purportedly conveyed are located above the ordinary

24  high water mark, as set forth herein.  The present holders of

25  the deeds or grants to which this section applies shall retain

26  all riparian rights held by waterfront landowners.
