  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to appropriations; providing an

  3         appropriation for the construction of a

  4         specified community center in Brevard County;

  5         providing for accountability of funds

  6         appropriated pursuant to the act; providing an

  7         effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11         Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the

12  General Revenue Fund to the Board of County Commissioners of

13  Brevard County the sum of $1 million for the purpose of

14  constructing the Melbourne Police Athletic League Community

15  Center at a site designated by the Greater Melbourne Police

16  Athletic League Board of Directors.  The Board of County

17  Commissioners of Brevard County shall be responsible for the

18  disbursement, proper expenditure, and accountability of funds

19  appropriated pursuant to this act.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

21  law.
