14         Amendment (with title amendment) 

15         On page 4, between lines 12 and 13, of the bill

16

17  insert:

18         (8)  Nothing in this section shall be construed to

19  prohibit or restrict a health care practitioner who is not

20  licensed in Florida from providing health care services

21  through telecommunications to a patient temporarily visiting

22  Florida with whom the health care practitioner has an

23  established practitioner-patient relationship so long as the

24  treatment provided is for a non-acute chronic or recurrent

25  illness previously diagnosed and treated by that practitioner

26  and so long as the practitioner holds an active unrestricted

27  license to practice in another state or in another recognized

28  jurisdiction.
