14 On page 19, between lines 7 and 8,

16 insert:
17 Section 14. Subsection (1) of section 626.9915,
18 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 626.9915 Effect of suspension or revocation of
20 viatical settlement provider license; duration of suspension;
21 reinstatement.--
22 (1) When its license is suspended or revoked, the
23 provider must proceed, immediately following the effective
24 date of the suspension or revocation, to conclude the affairs
25 it is transacting under its license. The provider may not
26 solicit, negotiate, advertise, or effectuate new contracts.
27 The department retains jurisdiction over the provider until
28 all contracts have been fulfilled or canceled or have expired.
29 A provider whose license is suspended or revoked may continue
30 to maintain and service viaticated policies subject to the
31 approval of the department.
