11  The Committee on Community Affairs offered the following:

13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 2, lines 9-15,

15  remove from the bill:  all of said lines

17  and insert in lieu thereof:

18         (4)  DEVELOPMENT CONSIDERATIONS.--The Miami River

19  Commission, working with the City of Miami and Miami-Dade

20  County, shall consider the merits of the following:

21         (a)  Development and adoption of an urban infill and

22  redevelopment plan, under ss. 163.2511-163.2526. Participating

23  state and regional agencies shall review the proposed plan for

24  the purposes of consistency with applicable law.

25         (b)  Development of a greenway/riverwalk and blueway,

26  where appropriate, as authorized under chapter 260, to provide

27  an attractive and safe connector system of bicycle,

28  pedestrian, and transit routes and water taxis to link jobs,

29  waterfront amenities, and people and contribute to the

30  comprehensive revitalization of the Miami River.
