14 On page 53, between lines 18 and 19,

16 insert:
17 Section 28. The Department of Health, in conjunction
18 with other affected state agencies, shall develop a hepatitis
19 A awareness and immunization program for food service
20 establishments, day care centers, and any other business
21 settings in which the contraction of hepatitis A threatens the
22 public health and safety. The immunization program shall be
23 offered primarily through the county health departments and
24 shall be a self-supporting program that is funded by user
25 fees. The Department of Health may work with pharmaceutical
26 manufacturers and private associations in developing this
27 program and in securing the hepatitis A vaccine at the lowest
28 possible cost. As part of this program, the department shall
29 distribute materials to potentially affected businesses and
30 individuals.
31 Section 29. The Department of Revenue, in conjunction

1 with the Department of Health and other affected state
2 agencies, shall study the feasibility of refunding the costs
3 of immunizations to businesses and individuals that
4 participate in the hepatitis A immunization program. The
5 Department of Revenue shall report to the Legislature on the
6 feasibility of such a program by January 1, 2001.

15 insert:

21 immunizations and report to the Legislature;
