11  Senator King and Kirkpatrick moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 260, lines 6-27, delete those lines

15

16  and insert:

17         (4)  Workforce Florida, Inc., through the Agency for

18  Workforce Innovation, shall establish an electronic benefit

19  transfer program for the use and management of education,

20  training, childcare, transportation, and other program

21  benefits under its direction. The workforce electronic benefit

22  transfer program shall fulfill all federal and state

23  requirements for Individual Training Accounts, Retention

24  Incentive Training Accounts, Individual Development Accounts,

25  and Individual Services Accounts. The workforce electronic

26  benefit transfer program shall be designed to enable an

27  individual who receives an electronic benefit transfer card

28  under subsection (1) to use that card for purposes of benefits

29  provided under the workforce development system as well. The

30  Department of Children and Family Services shall assist

31  Workforce Florida, Inc., in developing an electronic benefit

 1  transfer program for the workforce development system that is

 2  fully compatible with the department's electronic benefit

 3  transfer program. The agency shall reimburse the department

 4  for all costs incurred in providing such assistance and shall

 5  pay all costs for the development of the workforce electronic

 6  benefit transfer program.
