14         On page 47, line 11, after the word state

15  remove from the amendment:

17  and insert in lieu thereof:  , except that no Wagner-Peyser

18  funds shall be used to provide payment for job placement

19  services rendered by private sector staffing firms. Regional

20  workforce boards may not contract with private sector staffing

21  firms for services that duplicate or compete with the efforts

22  of job placement services provided through Wagner-Peyser

23  funding.
