  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to public records; expressing

  3         the legislative intent to establish a public

  4         records exemption for certain international

  5         trade and economic development data; providing

  6         an effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9

10         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

11  create a public records exemption for certain international

12  trade and economic development data that are in the nature of

13  trade secrets and that if released could place private

14  entities at a competitive disadvantage.

15         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

16  law.
