14 On page 17, between lines 18 and 19 of the bill

16 insert:
17 Section 13. Section 627.6410, Florida Statutes, is
18 created to read:
19 627.6410 Coverage for early intervention services;
20 limitation.--Any accident or health insurance policy that
21 covers a child in this state from birth to 3 years of age,
22 which provides for payments for early intervention services
23 for such child and that is issued, amended, delivered, or
24 renewed in this state after October 1, 2000, shall not provide
25 for application of such payments against any maximum annual or
26 lifetime limits specified in this policy.
27 Section 14. Section 627.65747, Florida Statutes, is
28 created to read:
29 627.65747 Coverage for early intervention services;
30 limitation.--Any group, blanket, or franchise accident or
31 health insurance policy that covers a child in this state from

1 birth to 3 years of age, which provides for payments for early

6 contract.
7 Section 15. Subsection (39) is added to section
8 641.31, Florida Statutes, to read:
9 641.31 Health maintenance contracts.--
10 (39) Any health maintenance contract that covers a
11 child in this state from birth to 3 years of age, which
12 provides for payments for early intervention services for such
13 child and that is issued, amended, delivered, or renewed in
14 this state after October 1, 2000, shall not provide for
15 application of such payments against any maximum annual or
16 lifetime limits specified in the contract.

30 payments to certain limits specified in the
31 policies or contracts;
