13         Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 55, between lines 13 & 14,

16  insert:

17         Section 28.  Subsection (20) is added to section

18  397.321, Florida Statutes, to read:

19         397.321  Duties of the department.--The department

20  shall:

21         (20)  The department may establish in district 9, in

22  cooperation with the Palm Beach County Board of County

23  Commissioners, a pilot project to serve in a managed care

24  arrangement non-Medicaid eligible persons who qualify to

25  receive substance abuse or mental health services from the

26  department. The department may contract with a not for profit

27  entity to conduct the pilot project. the results of the pilot

28  project shall be reported to the district administrator, and

29  the Secretary eighteen months after the initiation. The

30  department shall incur no additional administrative costs for

31  the pilot project.
