14 On page 4, between lines 26 and 27,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Notwithstanding any provision to the
18 contrary contained in Committee Substitute for House Bill
19 2339, enacted in the 2000 Regular Session of the Legislature,
20 the establishment of a specialty hospital offering a range of
21 medical services restricted to a defined age or gender group
22 of the population or a restricted range of services
23 appropriate to the diagnosis, care, and treatment of patients
24 with specific categories of medical illnesses or disorders,
25 through the transfer of beds and services from an existing
26 hospital in the same county, is not exempt from the provisions
27 of section 408.036(1), Florida Statutes.
