17 Section 11. Notwithstanding the provisions of s.
18 110.123(2)(g), Florida Statutes, former state officers and
19 employees who are vested in the Florida Retirement System, and
20 who have deferred receiving their state retirement benefits
21 until age 62 to avoid early retirement penalties, may
22 participate in the state group health insurance plan at the
23 time of receiving their state retirement benefits on the same
24 basis as a retiree defined in s. 110.123(2)(g), Florida
25 Statutes.
