11  Senator Latvala moved the following amendment:

13         Senate Amendment 

14         On page 1, between lines 28 and 29,

16  insert:

17         Section 3.  State funds appropriated in lieu of impact

18  fees by a county ordinance which was publicly noticed prior to

19  April 23, 2000 for hearing may be used for the same purposes

20  as impact fees for school purposes levied by a county. If in

21  any year the Legislature appropriates an amount less than 62.5

22  percent of the total impact fee for school purposes revenue

23  collected in 1999-2000, or with respect to ordinances noticed

24  prior to April 23, 2000, for hearing, but adopted after May 1,

25  1999, the legislature appropriates an amount less than 62.5

26  percent of the total impact fee for school purposes revenue

27  which would have been collected in 1999-2000 if such ordinance

28  had been in effect, a county may increase the county levied

29  portion to make up the difference.
