13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 

14         On page 1, between lines 28 and 29,

15

16  insert:

17         Section 3.  Effective July 1, 2000, sections 325.001,

18  325.201, 325.202, 325.203, 325.204, 325.206, 325.207,

19  325.2075, 325.208, 325.209, 325.210, 325.211, 325.212,

20  325.213, 325.2135, 325.214, 325.215, 325.216, 325.217,

21  325.218, and 325.219, Florida Statutes, are repealed.

22         Section 4.  Within 90 days after the effective date of

23  this act, the Department of Environmental Protection shall

24  initiate a revision of the United States Environmental

25  Protection Agency-approved State Implementation Plan for

26  Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties to back out the emission

27  credits from the motor vehicle inspection program.

  9         325.213, 325.2135, 325.214, 325.215, 325.216,

10         325.217, 325.218, 325.219, F.S., which provide

11         for inspection of motor vehicle exhaust

12         emissions; creating s. 325.205, F.S.; directing

13         the Department of Environmental Protection to

14         submit a revision to Florida's State

15         Implementation Plan to the United States

16         Environmental Protection Agency;
