15         On page 1,

16  remove from the bill:  everything after the enacting clause

18  and insert in lieu thereof:

19         Section 1.  Subsection (1) of section 556.108, Florida

20  Statutes, is amended to read:

21          556.108  Exemptions.--The notification requirements

22  provided in s. 556.105(1) do not apply to:

23         (1)  Any excavation or demolition performed by or for

24  the owner of single-family residential property when such

25  excavation or demolition is made entirely on such land,

26  provided there is no encroachment on any member operator's

27  right-of-way, easement, or permitted use.

28         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

29  law.
