  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Florida Building Code;

  3         providing legislative intent; providing an

  4         effective date.

  6  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  7

  8         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

  9  review the proposed Florida Building Code adopted by the

10  Florida Building Commission pursuant to chapter 98-287, Laws

11  of Florida, and the commission's proposed recommendations of

12  revisions to the Florida Statutes which would be necessitated

13  by the Legislature's adoption of the Florida Building Code.

14         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

15  law.

      Declares legislative intent to review the proposed
20    Florida Building Code adopted by the Florida Building
      Commission and any required revisions to the Florida
21    Statutes necessitated by the Legislature's adoption of
