  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the 2012 Summer Olympics;

  3         expressing the intent of the Legislature to

  4         provide financial support for a bid to host the

  5         2012 Summer Olympics and indemnify the United

  6         States Olympic Committee and the International

  7         Olympic Committee against financial loss;

  8         providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12         Section 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to

13  provide financial support for a state location's bid to host

14  the 2012 Summer Olympics and to indemnify the United States

15  Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee against

16  financial loss if the 2012 Summer Olympics are held in this

17  state.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

19  law.
